WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Who We Are

SCF Youth Ministries is the student ministry of Sugar Creek Fellowship Church, where every student is welcomed, loved, supported, and empowered. We’re passionate about creating a safe, inclusive space where young people can be themselves, build lasting relationships, and grow in their faith. More than just a youth group, we’re a family—one that lifts each other up, walks through life together, and points one another to Christ. With the support of our church and community, we help students discover their purpose, develop confidence, and embrace their God-given potential.

What We Do

At SCF Youth Ministries, everything we do is rooted in love, purpose, and faith. Here's how we invest in our students:

  • Provide Food & Essential Needs
    We’re here to support students beyond the church walls. Whether it's a hot meal, toiletries, or other basic necessities, we make sure every student has access to what they need to succeed.

  • Leadership Growth
    We equip students with the tools and confidence to lead with character and integrity—preparing them to make a difference in every area of their lives.

  • Community Impact
    Through service and outreach, we empower students to be change-makers, using their gifts to serve both their local communities and the world.

  • Biblical Teaching
    We offer engaging lessons and real conversations that help students deepen their faith, grow closer to God, and discover their spiritual gifts.

  • Have Fun & Create Memories
    From game nights to retreats, we make space for laughter, friendship, and unforgettable experiences that bring our group closer together.

PROGRAMS WE OFFER

  • IGNITE

    Ignite was designed to allow students the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun on a deeper level. Students will play games, eat snacks, and engage in conversations about God, The Bible, and how to apply what the bible teaches to our lives. This program was designed and  available to any students Grades 7th-12th. (ages: 12-18)

    Ignite takes place on Sunday nights from 5pm-7pm

  • ILLUMINATE

    Illuminate was designed to allow students the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun. Students will play games, be provided a meal, and engage in conversations about life, school, and most importantly God. As we partner along side The Center for Whitley County Youth, we are able to provide a shuttle service that picks up students from After School Central in South Whitley, IN. and a return shuttle service that takes students home after Illuminate. This program was designed specifically with After School Central in mind and is available to any students Grades 6th-8th (ages: 11-14).

    Illuminate takes place November-May on Wednesday nights from 5:45pm-7:15pm

  • EVENTS AND TRIPS

    SCF Youth Ministries is dedicated to providing experiences for young people throughout the year. We offer 1-2 events each month, ranging from local gatherings to larger district-wide and annual events. These events are designed to foster community, spiritual growth, and personal development among youth. Whether through fun local activities, district events, or memorable annual traditions, SCF Youth Ministries strives to create opportunities where young individuals can connect, learn, and grow in their faith.
